“Finally” and “It’s about time” were heard many times at Heather and Jordan’s wedding. The happy couple had been together for “forever” it seemed, which made their wedding day all the more special. I just loved the way they looked at each other throughout the entire day. So darn sweet!

When Joan first got in touch with me, she mentioned that she was not a spring chicken and she didn’t want her wedding to look silly. This was her second marriage, as it was for her guy, Pat. Both had been widowed. Both had fallen in love again. Their wedding was anything but silly, well, maybe the dancing was (The band did come out in full Indian headdress for YMCA). With seven children and 11 grandchildren between them, they are one big happy family. Thanks Joan and Pat for letting me be a part of such a special day.

Elizabeth’s family purchased a great beach house on Sullivan’s Island several years ago, where her dad used to spend his summers as a kid. The tradition continued into Elizabeth’s childhood too. When she and her guy Travis were dating, it was here that Travis was introduced to and welcomed into her family. So it was a given that the wedding would be held in such a special place outside of Charleston, SC. Congratulations Betsy and Travis, I hope you are having a wonderful time in Egypt!
