Every winter holiday seems to be a whirlwind of visiting with family, lots of food, good times, and way too much time spent in the car. I’m glad we are back home, but I can’t deny that I’m missing this.

Can I just go ahead and move to the mountains today. It seems like every time I head out that way, there’s something pretty to photograph. Here’s a Japanese maple, some pretty yellow leaves, and a frilly grass/wheat looking thingy. Hope you like them. :)

Last month, I took some flower shots while photographing a wedding outside of Asheville. The weather was gorgeous, the venue was a beautiful fall escape, and the place was abuzz with bees and ladybugs. It was a perfect day.
