Dameian, my guy, has been working on his online portfolio and he needed some head shots. Plus, I just rented a really awesome lens so I needed to try it out. Our first day out, D’s allergies were really acting up, so it looked like he was crying in all the shots. boo. He looked so sad.

Second time was a charm. We went to Pineville Park. Has anybody been there? The park was great. It has a huge lake, really long jogging trail, great playground. I loved it. The light!! The light was great. I can’t wait to take some clients there for a children and family session. Seriously, I was ready to go grab some hot dogs and burgers and grill out. What a great place!

Here’s Dameian. Aw, isn’t he handsome? When I saw the park, I was all, “Oh, yay. It’d be so nice to take some shots lying in the grass. And how about over there by those flowers?!” Dameian says, “This is what I was worried about. I don’t have ovaries. I’m not lying down in the grass.” Oh well. At least he sat in the grass.
